UI/UX Designer
2023-2024
Lokalise is a localization platform used by agile dev teams. My work focused on the website, specifically the pricing page and resources section, with UX research to back up the design decisions.
Pricing pages are notoriously hard to get right. I simplified the structure and integrated an AI feature that calculates costs based on word count via a slider. The redesign made the page less overwhelming and worked across all screen sizes.
The resources section needed a fresh layout. I reorganized it around how users actually look for content, making case studies, libraries, and guides easier to find on any device.
Alongside the design work, I ran research into user preferences, competitor sites, and market positioning. Part of this fed directly into defining the Ideal Customer Profile, useful for both design decisions and the wider growth strategy.
Research came first
Doing the research first meant the design decisions had real backing, not just intuition.
Testing with real users
Testing the pricing page with users revealed friction points that weren't obvious from the inside, worth the extra time every time.
Knowing the audience
Defining the ICP alongside the design work made both better, clearer audience, clearer decisions.

The project combined research and design in a way that's not always possible, the findings shaped the work, and the work reflected the findings. That's the kind of process that tends to produce something worth shipping.
